I just bought your software imageduster, as there's nothing else on the market that comes close to this problem solver. Your software works great and it is a real time saver. Just what I've been looking for. I hope you will have more success with it in the future, so that you'll keep enhancing and developing it.

Imageduster came up on a google search after I typed in (Dust Removal Photoshop Plug-in).  It has proved to be very helpful this evening as my current project has over 400 images from a Kodak Pro SLRn camera. This software has proved its self already.

I also work in a pro camera store and I will be sure to recommend this software to my clients especially as DSLR's are becoming very popular and dust is the only major problem from which all the cameras on the market suffer from.  Thanks again David

This year's 'MUST HAVE' Digital SLR - Utility

If you have a Digital SLR Camera (DSLR) -------

-------- you need Imageduster Pro!

Whether you are an amateur or professional photographer you will rapidly find out about the largest single design flaw inherent in modern Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) cameras - the sensor is exposed to air originally from outside the camera when the shutter is fired.

The sequence of events go like this:

  1. you change the lens - air from outside the camera (including dust etc.) enters the camera body.
  2. you take a picture - the mirror swings up out of the way (a relatively large air paddle! inside the camera!) this moves all of the air around at high speed.
  3. the shutter opens exposing the cameras CCD or CMOS sensor to the now disturbed air inside the camera.
  4. inevitably some of the dust in the air ends up on the sensor!
  5. your next pictures have dust spots on like the ones shown here!

If you use images created by a Digital SLR cameras or Digital Image Scanners you will know how difficult it is to remove dust spots created by dust on the camera's or scanner's sensor. You will also know much time removing them can take in post-processing.

On DSLR Cameras it is nearly impossible to keep the sensor clean in an environment where frequent lens changes are performed like on a busy shoot or the working environment is dusty. ImageDuster - Pro was written as a direct result of needing to process many images which had significant amounts of dust evident on the sensor.
