This section attempts to head off as many questions as possible - please look through these suggestions before sending any emails requesting support.

I cannot get ImageDuster to Install - make sure you have enough available memory and disc space. This should be at least 50 Mb of free space in RAM and on disc.

ImageDuster isn't removing spots - perhaps they exist in an area which has a significant amount of variation around it - try to set the area sensitivity slider to a higher value!

How do I tell ImageDuster to manually set a dust spot - By right clicking in a suspected dust spot in the 100% Image Window  . Normally this will find a spot, but if it doesn't try to be more accurate with the cursor selection. All of ImageDuster is based around threshold values - try to find the darkest part of the dust spot and click on that. If it still won't find the dust spot, try increasing the value of the Edge Sensitivity slider to a higher value!

ImageDuster has not found common dust spots between two or more images - ImageDuster will fail to find common dust spots if the resolution of the images is different in either width or height or the orientation of the images is different or any one image has a common dust spot in an area which is obscured by too much detail. This is being addressed in a future release of the software!

ImageDuster cannot find dust spots in textured areas - ImageDuster is in the process of being made able to recognise spots in textured areas and heal the area correctly - this is due for release late 04
